Glasgow, Aug. 29—PFC Louis N. Beaudry, USMC, has been killed in action [July 27, 1944] in the Pacific, according to word received by his father, Alfred Beaudry, of Glasgow. He was a member of “Carlson’s Raiders” and had taken part in numerous engagements, including those at Saipan and in the Marianas.

Private Beaudry was born in Malta Sept. 15, [1923]. He was educated in the schools of Valley County and was attending a vocational school in Oregon when he joined the Marines in 1942. A brother, Sanford Beaudry, was also with the USMC and they had met not long ago.
