Requiem mass was said Thursday morning at San Xavier Mission for two brothers, Pfc. Stephen and Pfc. Raymond Carrillo, who were killed in action on Okinawa within three days of each other. Burial took place in San Xavier Cemetery.

Stephen Carrillo, a Marine, died June 12, 1945, during the assault on Naha. His older brother, Raymond, who was in the infantry, was killed three days later in the same campaign.

Raymond was born Mar. 21, 1916, and Stephen, Oct. 29, 1923. They are survived by their mother, Amelia; a sister, Susie; and a brother, Leo, all of San Xavier.
