Anthony Joseph Cotogno, a sales representative with John H. Harland Co., died Wednesday [January 12, 1994] at Jefferson Medical Center of complications after heart surgery. He was 69. Mr. Cotogno was born in New Orleans and lived In Arabi many years. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School. He worked in sales and management positions for 34 years and worked briefly with the New Orleans Item newspaper. He was a charter member of English Turn Country Club and a parishioner of St. Louise De Marillac Church. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Acosto Cotogno; a son, Gary Cotogno; A daughter, Cheri Cotogno Grodsky; a brother, Victor Cotogno; and three grandsons. A mass will be said today at 2 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. A visitation will be held after 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
