JAMAICA BEACH—Funeral services for William Hugh Dickerson, [62], 4216 Spanish Main, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Malloy and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Asbury Lenox officiating.

Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Alta Loma under the direction of Malloy and Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Dickerson died Wednesday [May 2, 1979] at Jennie Sealy Hospital.

He was born July 23, 1916 in Austin and was chief deputy tax appraiser for Galveston County.

Mr. Dickerson was a retired tax appraiser for the city of Austin.

Survivors include his wife, Lea Dickerson of Jamaica Beach; his mother, Bess Dickerson of Austin; two sons, Barry Brookshire of Austin and Larry Brookshire of Houston; two brothers, Wayne Dickerson of Austin and Chick Dickerson of Houston and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be P. B. Dickerson, Frank Gonzales, Rudy Mansie, James Knotts, Emilo Romero, Jefferson Mickey Key and Lee Hasselmier.

Honorary pallbearers will be C. R. Johnson, Cliff Allen, Michael Mazzino, Farner Llewllyn, Jack Klitgaard, Bob Smouse, Alton Hall, Curtis Frennessen, Tom Destiser, Ray Rade, Joe Taylor and Bill Muncaster.

Masonic graveside rites will be held by Galveston Harmony Lodge 6.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
