Graveside services will be held Monday for Clarence Chester “Bill” Eckstein, 66, who passed away Nov. 5 [1985] at his residence in Corpus Christi. Following services in Corpus Christi Friday, interment will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with graveside services at 10 a.m.

He was born April 17, 1920, in Kerrville, and was a retired pipe-fitter for Local 185 in Corpus Christi. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Maude Eckstein of Seguin; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Swartz of Fargo, North Dakota and Mrs. Linda Elaine Kuzniar of Corpus Christi; two sons, John C. Eckstein of Houston and James Eckstein of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Charlsie Goff of Seguin. He was preceded in death by his father, “Charlie” Eckstein of Kerrville.

Local arrangements are under the direction of the Grimes Funeral Chapels.
