N. Rogers Farley, 56, of 2202 Edwards, Alton, was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:15 a.m. Friday [May 28, 1976] at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was president of the Drury & Wead Co. in Alton for 33 years.
He married the former Betty Redmond Dec. 27, 1939, in Alton.
Besides his widow, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Hoechst of Rosewood Heights, Mrs. Ed (Sarah) Sholar of Alton, Misses Georgia Ann and Christine Farley, both at home; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. C. S. (Sylvia) Thomas of Towson, Md. and two brothers, Dr. Harrison H. Farley of Minneapolis, Minn. And G. Michael Farley of River Falls, Wis.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stalen Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. James A. Suddes officiating.
Burial will be in Alton City Cemetery.
