Ingersoll Lincoln Hastings, 89, passed away peacefully June 7th 2012. Lincoln was born August 28, 1922 to Charles and Iva Hastings in Riddle, Idaho. He grew up in Riddle and attended high school in Boise. He joined the military in 1942 and proudly served his country as a Marine Raider in WW II in the South Pacific. After his service he later met and married Virginia Williams in 1954 and they had 4 daughters. Lincoln and Virginia hauled milk in 10 gal. cans in the 60s in Boise before transitioning to bulk milk hauling in the 70s when they settled in Gooding. Lincoln and Virginia were married for 53 years at the time of her death in 2008. He is survived by their four daughters Linda Hastings, Colfax, Wash., Carol (Marcel) Wanders, Meridian, Connie (Tim) Alexander, Meridian, and Donna (Bryan) Ludwig, Boise, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at graveside at the Fairview Cemetery in Annex, Oregon on June 16, 2012 at 2:00pm.
