Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Tucker Funeral Home in Kingman for Elmer P. Imus, 56, who died at the Winslow Memorial Hospital Friday, Feb. 17 . Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman.
Mr. Imus was a construction superintendent for Roidan Construction Company, a sub-contractor for M.M. Sundt Construction Company, prime contractor for the I-40 bypass. He was born in January, 1922 in Los Angeles, and moved to Kingman as an infant with his parents. He had lived most of his life in Kingman and was a deputy sheriff there before going into construction work.
Survivors include one son, Larry, of Kingman; two daughters, Carol Cofer, of Kingman and Diana Adams of Phoenix; and six grandchildren.
