Hilton Icen Jones, 61, of 118 Somerset Drive, died Saturday [May 22, 1982].
A native of Oconee County, he was a machinist with Lang-Ligon Co., a former employee of Dunean Mill, a World War II Marine veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Maw Jones; daughters, Debra Jones of Taylors and Lynn J. White of Powdersville; a son, PFC Michael H. Jones of the U.S. Army, Ft. Benning, Ga.; sisters, Lizzie Mae J. Rogers of Westminster, Irene J. Bryant and Inez J. Cannon, both of Greenville and Eunice J. McDonald of Seneca; brothers, Howard B. Jones of Prosperity and Burt Jones of Greenville; a half sister, Gladys Smith of Seneca; and half brothers, Clyde and William Smith, both of Seneca and Harold Smith of Walhalla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home.
Visitation 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday.
