James Richard Kilgore, 72, of Medford, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1993 at his home. No service is planned.
He was born Aug. 17, 1921, in [Rock Island], Ill.
A builder of residential homes, Mr. Kilgore also was a building inspector for the city and county of Las Vegas for 14 years.
He moved to the Rogue Valley from [Las Vegas] in 1986.
In Medford, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1198.
During World War II, he served in the 40th [sic] Division of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include a son, James C. Kilgore, Las Vegas; two daughters, Karen Kilgore and Barbara Sawyer, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
