Eli Legino, age 83, of Omaha [June 15, 2006]. Preceded in death by parents, Steve and Mary; brothers, Dan and Nick; sister, Betty Lou Beno. Survived by loving wife, Ann; sons, Ronny and wife, Susan of Topeka, KS, Donny of Parker, CO, Lonny and wife, Mary of Omaha, Jonny of Omaha; grandchildren, Allison, Kristen, Matthew, Jennifer and Jordan Legino; brothers, George and wife, Phyllis of Ault, CO, Robert and wife, Cozette, Roberts, MT; sisters, Annie Hogan, Evangeline Brusan and son, Nicholas and Helen Radnov, all of Omaha, Mildred Pecel of Pasadena, CA; many nieces and nephews. Member of U.S. Marine Raider Association. Lifetime member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church., York Rite, Master Mason, Mt. Calvary Commandery #1, Tangier Shriners.
Services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Fr. Sasha Petrovich officiating. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Pomen service and a 7:30 p.m. Masonic service under the auspices of the Mercer Lodge No. 290 A.F. & A.M., all at the mortuary. Military honors by Engineer Maintenance Company, United States Marine Corps, 4th Maintenance Battalion and VFW Benson Post 2503. Memorials to the family to fulfill Eli’s wishes.
