U.S. MARINE RAIDER REUNION 2016
July 19th – 24th
We had a GREAT reunion in Wilmington and we’ll be posting some pictures here soon. Check out our FaceBook page for more pictures as well.
Also, as soon as we have news about the 2017 Reunion we’ll let you know about it right here.
Here’s a message from Event Chairperson, Kathe Harn:
I am so excited about the Reunion. I want you to know you are invited to join our group of WWII Marine Raiders and current MARSOC Raiders and their family and friends for our annual reunion in Wilmington, NC, July 19-24, 2016. We will have two full days at Camp Lejeune, U.S. Marine Base. On Thursday we will have a joint “Honor the Fallen” Ceremony for Raiders and we will continue to the MARSOC Grounds for an afternoon of lunch, displays by the Raiders, and fun games and activities for the families. On Friday, we have been invited by Major General Joseph L. Osterman Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command to the New Raider 10 Year Celebration and Change of Command.
Join us in honoring every Marine Raider by making a contribution to the “Honor a Raider” Picnic Fund.
Sponsored by the:
U.S. MARINE RAIDER ASSOCIATION and
U.S. MARINE RAIDER FOUNDATION
This picnic presents a unique opportunity for WWII Raiders and the newly reflagged Raiders to socialize and share stories detailing Marine Corps experiences past and present. We anticipate attendance of up to 1,000 people. Every contribution will be helpful and every Marine Raider will be grateful. You may include the donation with your registration for the reunion.
