Long after his brother Harry Edward passed on, Ken remained close to his sister-in-law, Rhea and later her husband, Al as well. Ken was committed to his nieces Sandra and Karen, his nephew-in-law, William and his nephew, Robert. As their families grew, Ken loved spending time with and learning of the experiences of his great-nieces and nephews, Heather, Dawn, Heidi, Bob and Avanti as well as their children Emily, Davis, Jennah, Hannah, Grace, Julia and the newest addition to the family, Analese. In their later years, Ken and Peg lived at the Fountains at Millbrook and were cared for by Hafsàtu Ali.
