Graveside services were held yesterday for Cleatus Francis Phillips, who died at his Chino home Sept. 9 [1987]. He was 68.

Mr. Phillips was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran who served during World War II from 1942-45. He was a former Whittier resident who moved to Chino 13 years ago. He was a maintenance worker for the Chino Unified School District. The cause of death was not listed.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Norma of Chino; sons Wayne Phillips and Kerry Phillips, both of Chino; daughter Janis Phillips of Chino; brother Robert Phillips of Florida; sisters Veronica Tyrrell of Glendora, CA, Alma Redmond of Pittsburgh, PA, and Anna Voegele of Warren, PA; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services were held yesterday at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.

Pierce Brothers Griffith Mortuary handled all arrangements.
