Leo Pomerleau, husband of Mrs. Doris E. Pomerleau of 25 Ledge Road, North Chelmsford, died unexpectedly last night [September 28, 1959] at his home. He was born in Lowell and was the son of the late Joseph Pomerleau and Mrs, Alphonse Gervais, who survives him. He was a veteran of World War II. He was in business with his brother under the name of Pomerleau Bros. He was a member of the Chelmsford Lions Club, Tyngsboro Sportsman’s Club and the Nabnasset Legion. Besides his wife, the former Doris K. Cassidy, he is survived by three daughters, Dianna V., Janice M. and Nancy Ann; a son, Timothy L.; his mother, Mrs. Alphonse (Pomerleau) Gervais; six sisters, Mrs. Charles St. Onge, Mrs. Andrew Covossa of Lowell, Mrs. Carl Sgueglia of Nabnasset, Mrs. Raymond Plouffe of Lowell, Mrs. Mary Stevenson of Westford and Miss Jeannette Pomerleau of Lowell; four brothers, Edward of Chelmsford. Joseph of Lowell, Arthur of Westford and George of Wrentham.
