William W. Schreiber, 40, of 3701 West 96th, Overland Park, was pronounced dead late yesterday [June 6, 1963] at Providence Hospital. He apparently had suffered a heart attack at the Katz Drugstore, 954 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, where he had been manager three years. Mr. Schreiber was born in Tulsa and moved to Kansas City, Kansas, as a boy. He was a Raider in the Marine Corps in World War II, and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Kansas City, Kansas, Chamber of Commerce. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Schreiber; a daughter, Miss Diana Schreiber, and a son, Bruce Schreiber of the home, and a sister, Mrs. Shirley Jensen, McHenry, Ill. Services will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at the Fulton Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 o’clock today at the chapel.
