Emil J. Slobodzian, 73, Leavenworth, died March 30, 1993, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Leavenworth. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Holy Ghost Chapel of the medical center; burial in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Slobodzian was born in New York City and lived in Chicago before moving to Leavenworth nine months ago. He was a branch manager for the Pepsi-Cola Co. in Chicago before he retired. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic. Survivors include three sons, John Slobodzian, Wildwood, Ill., Steven Slobodzian, Overland Park, and Thomas Slobodzian, Phoenix; a daughter, Susan Slobodzian, Waukegan, Ill.; a sister, Helen Horoday, Chicago; and nine grandchildren.
